Privacy Policy
At video-audit.com, we prioritize your privacy. This Privacy Policy details how we handle user data and our compliance with global data protection standards.
1. Information We Collect
We adhere strictly to privacy-by-design and data minimization principles. For our free in-browser flash checker, your media files are processed 100% locally on your computer inside your browser via WebAssembly; video files never leave your device and are never uploaded to our servers. When you voluntarily submit an Early Access Pilot application, pricing inquiry, or enterprise request, we collect the contact and organizational details you provide (including your full name, work email address, company name, estimated monthly video volume, and intended use cases) strictly to evaluate your request, communicate with you, and coordinate access. If you submit diagnostic feedback or encounter an engine crash, technical metadata (such as error logs, video codec, container format, and file size) is transmitted to diagnose software bugs without storing personal video frames.
2. Client-Side Video Processing & Content Safety
Your video files are processed directly on your computer inside your browser. They are never uploaded to our servers, stored, or shared with anyone. Your media stays completely private on your device.
Please note that we plan to introduce an Enterprise API in the future. For the Enterprise API, video files may be temporarily stored on our servers strictly for processing and analysis, and will be deleted immediately after analysis is complete.
3. Cookies & Analytical Tools
We do not deploy third-party advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. We utilize Google Analytics with Google Consent Mode v2 (cookieless mode) and first-party performance telemetry to gather aggregate usage trends (such as page performance, browser types, and general geographical region) without writing persistent tracking cookies to your device or building personal visitor profiles. All IP addresses are automatically anonymized.
4. GDPR Compliance (EEA Users)
If you are located in the European Economic Area (EEA), the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, we process data in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). Our legal bases for processing include: performance of pre-contractual steps (Art. 6(1)(b)) when you request early access or pilot pricing; legitimate interests (Art. 6(1)(f)) for maintaining security, preventing denial-of-service abuse, and diagnosing software errors; and consent where applicable. You have the right under GDPR to access, rectify, erase, restrict, or receive a portable copy of your personal contact data, and to lodge a complaint with your local Data Protection Authority.
5. CCPA Compliance (California Users)
We do not sell personal information or share personal data for cross-context behavioral advertising. We do not meet the statutory revenue or volume thresholds requiring California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA/CPRA) certification. Regardless, we extend equal privacy protections to all visitors: you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of any contact information you have submitted through our lead forms at any time by contacting us.
